alone

alone

A Poem by starmozie

The darkness envelopes her,

like a shroud.

No moon tonight to light her path.

she shivers

and draws her sweater  tighter around her shoulders.

 She quickens her pace

glancing nervously

behind '

ITS THE SAME THING EVERY NIGHT

walking home alone

always

ALONE.

It strikes me as a good beginning. You've built up tension by her nervousness. It seems like there should be more. Thanks for joining The Lotus Eaters group.
