alone

The darkness envelopes her,

like a shroud.

No moon tonight to light her path.

she shivers

 and draws her sweater  tighter around her shoulders.

 She quickens her pace

glancing nervously

behind '

ITS THE SAME THING EVERY NIGHT

walking home alone

always

ALONE.
