The Exam

The Exam

A Story by Stephanie M
"

A group of college students take an exam they will never forget.

"

"You mean all we have to do is camp out in the woods for 3 days for our psych exam? What a fun, and easy 'A." Virgil said.

"Yea, but we can't bring our phones," Missy complained, "How will I get a hold of my boyfriend?"

"I'll miss my video games," Brian chimed in.

"This isn't so bad," Leah said, as she floated on a raft with a Long Island Iced Tea.

"Look what I caught," Brandon said, as he reeled in a large mouth bass.

"Hey, everyone, campfire time," Virgil said, piling twigs, and papers onto the bonfire.

"Yay, s'mores!" Missy ran to join the students by the campfire.

The next morning, some of the students began acting strangely.

"Missy, what are you doing?" Virgil inquired.

"I'm on the phone with my boyfriend."

"That's not a phone. Your talking into a pinecone!"

"All right, my boyfriend just arrived."

       "Missy, wait!" Virgil shouted.

She put her arms around a bear, and was immediately torn to pieces.

That evening, Brian ventured out of his tent, thinking he was in the middle of a video game.

"Brian, quit it!" Brandon shouted, "You're freaking everyone out."

"I've got to clear this dungeon." He shot down a beehive, and wrestled a raccoon. A couple days later, he came down with rabies.

"I see that only half of you have passed the exam," Professor Marx said, "This proves my theory that the modern day adult cannot go 3 days without technology."
