Saudade//

Saudade//

A Poem by Stephanie W.

Not in body, via surrogacy
kooky anemone amorous stings
traces of you, transubstantiated
the wine on your lips becomes me

elemental, ground to mineral
history stitched into my seam
no substance, no animals here

raise a stained glass finger to abduct
linger pulp and crumble
constellation, just enough.

You discribe "Saudade" wonderfully, in your own way. As it's personal to everyone... love the fact of leaving a lot over to the mind of the reader.

Well done!
