O Woman, Where Art Thou?

O Woman, Where Art Thou?

A Poem by Steve M
"

In society today, Women being equal is often mocked. In this poem I tried to exemplify who finally comes to a decision and say, "screw this".

“O Woman, Where Art Thou?
By Steve Millard

O Woman, where art thou?
You stare out that window lost in your
childish dreams.
The house is a mess and the the kids
run rampant.
I’ve no time for hapless dreams.

Your wifely service
is nigh.

O Woman, where art thou?
You stare out that window lost in your
childish dreams.
My plate sits here cold and my cup
half empty.
My belly growls and your wifely service
is nigh.

O Woman, where art thou?
You stare out that window lost in your
childish dreams.
It is time to retire for evening time is here.
I have need for you but your wifely service
is nigh.

O Woman where art thou,
Hello?
Wife, where are you?
Honey, I love you.
