Places we can find ourselves!

Drugs

Alcohol

Adultery

Abuse

These are roads to DESTRUCTION.

Some people turn left, others go right,

but many people never find there way out!

 

Despair

Desperation

Loneliness

Depression

These are roads to SADNESS.

Obstacles  are placed in our way.

Many people turn around, others keep going

in hope of finding themselves!

 

Joy

Hope

Love

Togetherness

These are roads to Happiness.

Most people finds  these roads,

but can loose their way if they don't

hang on to the directions!

 

Wealth

Marriage

Family

Everything

These are roads to SUCCESS.

Everyone wants to travel these roads,

we hunger for them.

Maybe we'll be one of the lucy ones

to travel them.

The only thing that stuck out was the second and third lines from the bottom, I think you meant lucky and perhaps to travel with them?

i've travelled them all - you have organized this write nicely. sometimes people start from the bottom to the top of your list...and others find their way out of the darkness approaching the bottom of your list. wealth is nothing without health (mental, emotional, physical) BALANCE - Marriage is just a paper without love, respect, communication and freedom of expression. Family is everything when there is unity, understanding and acceptance. We are all not so lucky to be born into wealth and good families but we can try to heal ourselves and create a healthy family of our own and work towards wealth with health.

I love this poem and its Biblical message and testimonial of capitalist "wealth." Spelling of "obstacle" needs sorting. Waiting for a twist at the end but none this time. This should be sold to the state Theological College! Yes, I liked it!
