My Kind Of Man

My Kind Of Man

A Poem by storiestotell

Mysterious eyes

Something glistens inside

Body so frim and tight

Arms strong and loving

They have a love connection

Smile is always the same

Dazzling and captivating

Our time is priceless

Money can't buy

Other women watch him

Check out his attire

Days start with him

And ends the same

Men, she doesn't need them

Broken promises

The only man she yearns for

Is  him

He listens

Never cheats

He is always waiting every morning

In the department store window

Dressed in new attire

She loves her job!

I was thinking, "where'd she find a guy like that?" and then you sprung it on me. Now, if she can just get him to squash bugs and open jars.....

I thought you were talking about me until I
discovered it was a department store dummy .
How could you ?
Now I`ll have to invent an entirely new
awe inspiring mystique.

I like the trickery of the words. The words are true. He will always be faithful and honest sitting in the window. Thank you for the excellent poem.

now really! what happened to the good old days when a "real man" was the stuff of a woman's dream? lol the poem was deceptively clever. a good read.

Gotta love those mannequins. Some look real nice and some down right scary...especially the ones lacking heads and arms. Love the humor in this, its an outstanding poem.
