Friendzoned

Friendzoned

A Poem by streetrose

I don't know what to say to you
I just want to talk to you again
You said you aren't interested, and I get that
Believe me, I fully understand that
But you mean absolutely everything to me
You are my best friend, my better half
I've told you everything and you've stayed
You are there for me when no one else is
But talking to you kills me a little more each time
I love our friendship, but I want more
I want rainy weekends working on your truck
And I want long motorcycle rides
Cheesy movies and cheap pizza dates
I want to spoil you and love you
And everytime you make me laugh, another part of me dies
Because you don't want me, and you never will

Your pen must have diarrhea ... a lot of crap sure comes out of it. This is just terrible.

I could relate to this. I think you described the feeling very well -- it's not as vivid as some of your other pieces, but it sounds so genuine. Great work.
