Don't ever think to call me your knight

Because I'm the thing going bump in the night.

I'm he who the sane loathe and despise,

I am he who whispers only lies.

Blood and guts and gore and grime

Are the products of my crimes.

I am death,

I am bane,

I'm the devouring

Acid rains.

Within my eyes

All you will see,

Destruction,

Forsaken

Futility.

Do not call me what you will,

But name me as I am.

I am hate,

I am flame,

Satan is my name.

I like it. : ) My boss is in a band and can't write like that!! lol I have a different view of what Satan represents, but I wouldn't challenge your view in ANY way. I got to meet Anton before he died, and his daughters, and even borrowed on time to write and protest to Congress to get Satanism to be a religion in jail like it does now. That last stanza you wrote sold the whole poem to me. The "intro" was like that of a song, where you hear different parts come together in waves, and then you hear the obvious beat that, in sharp bursts, start the song with that last stanza!! -Mark

I love this poem. It reminds me of the book called the Book Thief actually. I enjoyed reading it. I am not a satanist and never will be, but you know seeing a lot of things in this life is hard. The devil makes sure that good people are destroying themselves and you know everything you said in this poem. Thank you for sharing, Daddy Goku.
