Another Planet

Another Planet

A Poem by Sue
"

Being an 'outsider' leads to frustration sometimes when not feeling understood....

"

I might as well have left the room for all the times I tried

To capture your attention and still it was denied

I could be speaking gibberish or jumping up and down

Waving my arms or panting, collapsing on the ground

But you’re on another planet whose language I don’t understand

Unreachable, not wanting a touch of human hand

So I cry my frustrated tears and have to turn away

Reality is calling towards a brighter day
