The Great Moe

The Great Moe

A Poem by stars are far

All creations around the world are swaying and swinging to find their place

They try to look back and search within the memory packs to find their grace.

They might find their blessed lands and create their fairy tales

But no man can ever pass by your eyes, burn and try to pace.

Moe, how can they not tremble, tear, get jealous and bow!

One day life will turn around; for; it is round and it truly glows.

It will throw me between your arms one more time and I will never let you go

I will imprison you, and make you all mine, forever and more.

Moe, how can life separate a body for its soul and cut off the oxygen troll?

How can the moon breathe without the sun and how can the tides roll?

Everything seem to be a lie without you my Moe, everything seemed to be with no toll.

The skies seem to be broken and so is this world, there is no whole.

Can't you know that I miss you my sweet great amazing Moe?

Can you believe that my love for you is so big and my heart is an empty ball?

What's left within me is everything about you... Parts of you my Moe.

One day, you will be mine and by then I would have reached my goal..

I Love You

The title its taken from "The Great Gatsby" which is one of my favorite books, so I just replaced Gatsby by Moe :D...
(Hey I recommend any one who loves reading to read that book if they haven't yet)

Moe..... What a muse you have, who makes you paint such vivid images with your pen.
BTW I liked the picture you used. :)
Well done

I love your multiple metaphors: since they refer to vastness and multiple celestial objects, your immense love for Moe is shown very well.

i agree .. the book is a rollicking adventure .. love the movie too! what i like most about this poem .. the visual i get from your first line .. i think it is by far the best in the whole poem ... and the sense i get that this was a very emotional outpouring for the writer .. an inspiration that strikes and we can't write it down fast enough .. i think some of the rhyming could be stronger but overall a very emotive expression .. makes me wish i knew Moe ;)

The romantic longing in this one is palpable. Hopefully Moe will read it and understand how you feel so you can give him a hug in person soon. Yes, the Great Gatsby was a wonderful book....and movie! I liked your poem. Lydi**
