I Cannot Explain...

Just a sad poem

There once was a sadness deep inside.
It's breath heavy,
A melted cone of sombre lies.

An illness coated, strychnine laced,
Peppercorn- icing, bitter taste.
A darkened breeze ,
A muffled sigh.
A lonely cloaked stare,
Right in the eye.

Oh to hold the sky like that.

To kneel and feel,
And bend the night.

It were empty, bare,
A thousand echoes there.

Inside a dream
Within a dream
I'm crying naked,

Oh , it feels...

Like nothing real.
A shallow, simple, brutal thing.
A million� No s�
The wind could sing.

And answers crumpled
In an empty hand.

My hope floats eternal,
(A Sahara scream)

Loneliness, boundless,
Feathered, bereaved.
