The Appearance of The King

I wrote this poem out of an uproar that took place at my place of work when I suggested that Jesus Might have been an ordinary or even unattractive looking man. but because He was God on Earth-dwell

When you think of the savior
Does your faith waver
If you found His appearance fell short of your favorite flavor?

Would your faith waver
If He was physically round
Had a Bolding crown
Was not muscle bound?

Would you still contemplate His claims?
Consider putting your faith in His name as your savior?
Will you turn off your ears off to His voice?
Shut your eye to His guidance?
When we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.
