My love for you

wrote this after taking my geometry final last tuesday, was so bored

I see you

across the hall

in another girls arms.

 

I don't like it

not one bit but

I can't change your mind.

 

You meet my eyes

we stare into each other's,

we share a moment.

 

Your girl pulls you

out of the trace

leaving me all alone.

 

I hear you then,

your yelling at her,

your dumping her!

 

She walks off pissed

in another direction

leaving you alone.

 

I take a chance

walking up to you

right then and there.

 

I ask how

you are doing

at the moment.

 

You say softly your

much better after

leaving her.

 

You take my hands in yours,

I blush deeply,

I look away.

 

You say to me,

'I love you,

Go out with me.'

 

My heart is beating

just to fast,

I can't hear it.

 

I don't know

what to say

at the moment.

 

You take a chance

taking my face

in your hands.

 

You kiss me!

You let go saying,

'What do you say?'

 

I can finally

speak to you,

I say yes.

 

We walk together

down the hall,

hand in hand.

 

I knew we'd

be together because

my love for you was true.

Very interesting style you have. It's almost colloquial and yet so poetic. Your stanzas really break at odd (the good way) places. Love the meaning. Gives us brokenhearted hope that it may go back again. Very nice, keep it up!
