A Poem by Susanna F
"

From English to Latin, Hebrew, Norwegian and back to English.

"
Bennett reeling
Helpless lament
Nary exit in sight
But I try to fly
When he saw the light.

Moaning and screaming
Endless Dreams
When the brain is missing?
Everywhere that freedom
I do not know joins a short time.

Love and laughter
having started
But they still exist
So I pretend that I should end
Stay with choirs.

Original:

Bent and reeling
Helpless keening
Nary an exit in sight
But I'll try my wings and fly
When I see the light.

Sighs and screaming
Endless dreaming
Where has my mind gone now?
It is free, wherever it be
I will soon join it somehow.

Love and laughter
Running after
Surely they still exist
So I'll pretend I'm at the end
And be there when I desist.

Seems a "Rose" by any other name doesn't always end up as a Rose... but it also points out the difference between a native speaker AND a translation algorithm.
