Earth Bound Angel

Earth Bound Angel

A Story by Susie Buckmiller

More of a story rather than a poem even though it reads as a poem.

There was an angel who fell to the earth.

She saw how evil it had became and she

knew she had to something in order to save the world

from its own destruction. She did what she had to do.

She begged and pleaded for it not to be destroyed.

In the end she made the ultimate scarifice that she could.

She gave up her soul and she bound it the earth.

She bace its protector and keeper. Those that were

good and pure of heart were allowed to look upon her

as she was. The image both beautiful and sad.

She was an angel with flowing hair and white wings.

She was bound to to the earth by the very nature that

most humans took for granted everyday.

How could this angel ever her time imprisoned?

Enough people had to care and turn toward the

light that she had left in order to save the planet.

Only then would she ever be free.

Finally tay came when she could leave the

planet she had cared for so long. Her bonds fell away

and instead of leaving she chose to stay and continue

looking after the earth.

She chose a new name for herself and could

if you were pure of heart be seen walking through

the very nature that had held her in place for so long.

People just bagan to call her Mother Nature and that is where

her story ends.
