Opaquely Yours

Opaquely Yours

A Poem by Swagato Saha

Orders of opaque 'gainst faces ha'e raged,
Condemned to wordless recoil;
Obscured to depths whence long'd they waged,
O' what of thus silent turmoil?

"I regard thy surface sublime she seems,
To the ecstatic eye that strays!
As sure the errant tongue fails to redeem,
Oddities so dispensed at bay."

Orders of opaque shall furiously sleep,
By absurdities they portend...
Conjurer o' depths, what spoils'd there keep -
Who waits at the alluded end?

"And in eventless dark our shadows speak,
Vain verses such these impose,
O' whatever stands of the senseless streak,
May warmth of gestures disclose."
