More Invincible

More Invincible

A Poem by Rachelle
"

tests

"
On the ramparts we all stand, brave and tall
Swords drawn fearlessly, never to fall.
Bows drawn taut, bound to defend
Wills steeled to meet our mortal end.
The enemy driven to take on his spoils
Our souls bound in these temporal coils.
Our spirits are precious in His eyes
In true perfection we must arise.
Embrace the destiny meant for you.
We all know what we have to do.

Perhaps there are no temporal coils since time is an illusion brought forth by perception. Perhaps we’re continuously conscious relative to ourselves, eternally so, but our perception of time changes whereby an Earth second turns into a trillion or more Earth years where that gap in perception is called Death by those who perceive time in a more accelerated way. When time speeds up for us again, we find ourselves born into another world. We’d have no idea how much time passes between incarnations. Consciousness is eternal, though relative to perception, and it doesn’t imply the retention of memories that are left behind time and time again in worlds without end full of adventure, and intrigue.

There will come a time when we come into terms with our mortality . Definitely not during our early twenties and thirties . But age has a way of reminding us that we are not going yo be here much longer and neither forever . Its the heartbreaking reality of the fallen world that we live in brought about by the fall of man in the garden of Eden . The sooner we realize that and recognise the better we can prepare for the next life . The pharaohs had their eternal future and destinies in mind when they plan and build the great pyramids .

Thank you, Ahena!
We are warriors all:

Swords drawn fearlessly, never to fall.
Bows drawn taut, bound to defend
Wills steeled to meet our mortal end.

We must be strong for life will test us.

Giving your life to a cause you believe in so dearly, knowing it shall reward you in the long run . . . Concise and direct, I like it. Well done.
