Alice

Alice

A Poem by Sweet Emotions
"

This is partly inspired by Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."

"
She slipped and fell into
the narrow passage of
despair
The curved tunnel blocked out
the light
As she slipped away
the smooth walls gave no support
Not a ledge of hope to grasp
Hands at her sides
she falls freely
waiting to hit the
bottom

I have one question: what is your form doing? Otherwise, I like the prepositional alignment and the imagery

Oh my, I'd frankly be quite scared to hit the bottom. This reminds me of Kiwi:

Wonderful play of words, dear one. Dark, with vivid imagery.
