Sunflower eyes shined so bright

Walking through the field

to the playground we knew as kids

holding hands.

The world seemed to sing a love song

But it’s really just the sound of

birds and crickets

wanting to get

fucked.

And wasn’t that my intent bringing her here?

To seduce her

Like the birds with their pretty colors

and their songs

Isn’t it so f*****g romantic?
