Flying High

Flying High

A Poem by Norma M Sutton
"

A comical reflection on meeting a black cow on a horseback ride

"
Flying high the ground rushes in
Today I'm on the mend

Big black cow
Teaches me now

Not all mounts are acquainted
My ride was tainted

As flying high
I dismounted

With a
THUD

Are you the crow or the sparrow taking flight here I wonder, nicely penned and I especially enjoyed the thud.

My Dear Writing Friend,
I liked this write, it is a thought provoking word tapestry that begged me to laugh before my fire, and that I did. I hope you mend soon!
