Petals red lead from the room
Clothing shed the morning gloom
Dew wet grass tickled my feet
As suns rays chased away
My cares of the coming day

Frantic pressures of time were dropped
As into the cooling water I hopped
Erasing my cares of the day
Chasing the tick of time away
If only here I could stay
