Athletics

Sought-after white pages

The most expensive photograph in the world,

Popular Ideas encouraged by exiled kings.

I cried out at the blue monitor

And dreamt of a day at the races

At least we were trying

You whisprered...

short and very expressive. Straight down my alley as I believe the expression goes. Thank you!

Trying hard to win the game - it's everybody's goal.
Nice piece. Keep going.

Indeed, a wise friend. Personal Best is the real definition of winning. We compete against our past glory and make our present the best yet. Beautiful poem. The lay out is attractive and easy to the eye. And the content of the poem was quite far reaching in depth with the use of a familiar and quite easy metaphor. Thank you so much for sharing your poem with us. You are very much appreciated.
