Spoilt

Spoilt

A Poem by tara chaos

the absence of mirrors
reflect her vanity
her silent glare
gags my mind
removing my strength
my will to fight
grasping for a splinter of dignity
I'm wounded beyond repair

(broken)
shattering into crystals of anguish
dissolving into a stain...
a mistake...
(hollow)
rejection is a relief
from the cruelty of humiliation
the door locks
(crushed)

I shout nothing to the void
my tongue is swollen
tastes of copper
heaving heavy sobs...
blackened tears soil my mask
searching for collapse
I burden the pain.
