Can you hear me?

I need to make sense of this

Sort out the mess this is.

I can’t take this restlessness.

 

Poetry? Can you see me?

I need you to uncover my eyes

Keep me from going blind

Help me see through these lies.

 

Poetry can you feel me?

I need you to wrap me in your warm embrace

Save me from going numb in this place.

Show me I can feel, touch my heart, touch my face.

 

Poetry I need you

I need a source of peace,

Something to put me at ease.

A sweet release.
