Your End

Your End

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Life is so brief
Take advantage of what you have
For you never know
When it may be your last,
Take a deep breath
Smell the fresh air
Take in the beauty of
The sun, the moon, the stars
For you never know
When you'll be able to again by far,
Take what life has granted you and run
For you never know when your end will come.

Great wisdom in the poem. I agree. We must enjoy and remember the good time. Leave the bad times behind. I like the description leading the reader to the positive ending.

Coincidence? Someone just told me this recently in so many words.
Now I know where to come to remind myself. ;-) These words are so much nicer to hear.

Thank you dear friend and you owe me nothing lol
You speak such truth in this poem. We all should not take for granted anything because we don't know when the end will come.

You are welcome...:)
Death is one of only two things said to be guaranteed in life - the other being taxes.
A very wise and reflective poem Tarry which is at odds with this material world in which we live.

A powerful wisdom woven in a flow of beautiful words. So true it is that we should do our best to make every moment count in this life, while our eyes still see, our spirit still tastes of those beautiful things around us.

This was a wonderfully crafted piece. An enjoyment to read and thuroughly enjoyed.
