My Will

My Will

A Poem by Tarry Franck

Late at night
I find myself shedding tears
Wondering why you
Are not here,
And then I remember
What you did
And what you hoped
Would stay hid,
The sad thing is
I still love you
Even after all the pain
You put me through,
But I can't allow you
To ruin my life
It's time to pick up the pieces
And find my will to fight.

Wishes and dreams leave us hoping for better ending. I do understand the poem. I like the description of emotion leading to the struggle to know peace. Thank you dear friend for sharing your amazing poetry.

Don't be anyones doormat Tarry (your name is so cool) - a level headed, well crafted, defiant poem minus negativity about the situation. thanks for the RR
