Change of Heart

Change of Heart

A Poem by Tasteless Heart

Cut me open, bleed me dry

As I supplicate to you

Rub the salt in wounds I hide

To conceal the ugly truth

Gather strength to win this fight

I have nothing left to lose

Choose revenge or what is right

Indecision shining through

Never burdened, never light

Carry on my way to you

Learn to walk the tightest line

Understand the simple truths

In this everlasting race

We will either win or fall

Only certainty to face:

Nothing is certain at all.

Nothing is for sure
But that doesn't mean that one shouldn't try
