Silent Melody

Silent Melody

A Poem by Taylor Ann

Fingers rest on black

and white shadows.

The third key from

the right

gently pushed down.

The chords reflect the

lights,

Pedal pressed

to the ground.

 Silently,

the song plays from the

frame,

the reflection of

closed eyes painted

on the stand.

Author's Note

Taylor Ann
We had to write still photo poems for English. So I took one of my passions, and let it form itself into a poem. This is how it ended up.
Enjoy.

Love the striking simplicity of this; reflects the outer calm of a piano that inside can create magical infusions :)
