Sonnet on Love Renewed (revised)A Poem by Trevor Jay BloodworthClassic theme; love lost, love found.Sleep
is over now, but still I will dream Of
all of our long gone and ancient days. Night
after night, oh why does nothing seem To
not remind me of our quaint old ways? Gone
is all the time that we spent alone, Love
that has just seemed to simply vanish. All
our yesterdays cannot be unknown. Lives
that hurt can do nothing but banish The
great fear of having to love again. Oh
but wait, here comes another lover, Can
they bring me the beautiful quaint Zen Of
a life I have yet to uncover? A
brighter tomorrow with my new love, Beauty
that can rise to the skies above. © 2013 Trevor Jay BloodworthAuthor's Note
