So many people
Staring at the lights
That make them whole
Wishing for the time to never end
While drifting towards the clouds
Slowly dreaming that they live forever
Such a time
So free to lose control
Nothing to cease the wonder
Of boundless potential
Flowing to the ever after
Towards an endless bliss
So many people
All leaving me behind
Slowly breathing
The air between
All these people
Living that beautiful dream
I can't accept that I'm here alone
Surrendered to a peace that I didn't want
So many people
Staring at the light
Slowly being complete
Look at all these people
Leaving me behind

Oh, this is so saddening in many ways, nothing stays still, so many things are not constant and its hard when we fall behind, but no-one walks above another, or in front, but alongside, I felt the emotion here x

There's s a gripping and truthful message that resonates althrough out this intriguing piece. It happens in life very often though, people change for the better while leaving behind a life they once knew which included old friends now being replaced by new ones. Great work Trevor Jay.
