Anxiety

Anxiety

A Poem by Talia

Can you mend this broken heart?
Because It's falling apart

I walk towards the ledge
Only Steps away from the edge

Take the leap
Don't make me weep

My insides shake
I'm about ready to break
The laughs that I fake
My soul cannot wake

I've paid my dues
I have nothing left to lose

It's a never-ending race
Tears rolling down my face

I'm losing my sanity
In my battle with anxiety

I just wrote this down in the heat of the moment. Anxiety is a tough thing to deal with.

I love the rhymes, but not the content. This was dark. I wish the subject person will come out of all this.
With this talent, if you write about bliss, consciousness, love, friendship, soul- I will be your best fan!

This is well written and very accurate. Anxiety can become a life of its own and yes it is a very tough thing to deal with.

Thanks for reading
Anxiety is a quiet assassin stealing pieces of us and our joys:( only a whisper of the unresolved but a scream silencing the beauty around us

Yes, it is. Glad you enjoyed
I'd rather deal with anxiety than to deal with the people who cause it every day. It's something that one usually has to deal with alone.

In fact, if I could move away from people completely, and not have to deal with them any longer, I might be a better man in general. Probably not. Guess we'll never know.

That's what anxiety and depression bring to the body of their victims.
They propels suicide, encourages pessimism and even make the worst out of men.

It's never a good experience.
I think what their victims need is to never try to be alone, trying to read optimistic books and many other phycological activities.
