resentment

resentment

A Poem by Andrew Vaughn
"

a downfall

"

same things once again

with swift repetition this cycle never ends

holding resentment

over events unfolding

cant keep this commitment

my resolve was a fleeting failure

hit the lights..

We cant stay here

give it up

we'll have to fight

holding on for so long

this endless struggle seducing

me... in to that white light

it blinded my sight

in the darkest night

a means to an end iv said and said again

but though I strived

I lost your life

Great imagery, chilling. I can feel the sadness.
