Christmas Prayer

 

Come here to me

Let’s gather around the Christmas tree

See the lights shining brilliantly

All the gifts wrapped so elegantly

Take my hand dear friend

There is something I need you to hear

 

I hope that life treats you kind

That all your fears will disappear

That sickness and pain will only make you stronger

I hope that you always see Christmas through the eyes of a child

I hope that you give as much as you get

That you reach out a helping hand to those in need

I hope you know the real reason Christmas is celebrated

I hope presents are not the only thing you love about Christmas

 

I hope you love others

All the year through

But most importantly

I hope you know that I love you

I hope you get all you want out of life

A new year is coming

A new beginning is about to start

I hope that you make the most the New Year

I hope you always forgive

I hope you learn from your experiences

That trials and tribulations will help you
