Little Fishy

Little Fishy

A Story by Patrick Bruun
"

A little fish following the stream after mothers orders.

"

Little Fishy swam down the fresh water lake. Always go with the stream as Momma Fish told it. Always in straight line, always following. Never ever go against the stream, or else Little Fishy will die, said Momma Fish. Little Fishy listened and kept swimming in the same scared and sad manner as always. Sad Little Fishy swam and swam, always following Momma Fish’s guiding words. Sad Little Fishy was lonely, too scared to talk to the others. Always in straight line, always following. Little Fishy kept on swimming even though it could not breath. Poor Little Fishy always sad always lonely, lost its breath because of its tears. No one saw it cry, no one saw it smile, no one seemed to notice it because it was just following along.  Now Little Fishy is floating with the stream, as Momma always told it to.
