Definition of “The Soul”

Definition of “The Soul”

A Poem by Ryan M. James

The souls reborn every new day, maybe that's why I feel so spiritually enlightened and post random philosophical mumbo jumbo every morning.

Try and define "the soul" in a non-religious context??...

I think it's the inner perfection of humanity, it is the part of us that is already supernaturally sublime, we need to learn to unlock its wisdom and power, for now it's caged inside an imperfect body that is ruled by the mind, the mind is ruled by fear and doubt.

These negative thoughts and emotions stem from the realisation that the world is imperfect and so we are imperfect. Humanity needs to learn to live through their soul instead of reason with the mind.

If you believe the whispers circulating as of late, you are aware that a new age of spiritual enlightenment is drawing near...

I pray we all are ready, wisdom comes at a cost, the cost is understanding the mistakes of our species past.

Hopefully we can avert such tragedy in the future.

Peace n Love

Oh!! I finally found something that I disagree with you on... I do not believe that our soul is caged inside of our imperfect bodies. Our body is encompassed by our soul. Our soul is too huge to imagine and, although it does concentrate itself close to it's body vehicle so that it can experience what only the physical can, it can also be other places at the same time. It expands beyond the body and some people can even see or feel or sence that energy. You know what I am talking about. Auras. But, there is more to it than that. I believe that our souls can expand, be in more than one place at a time, live more than one life at a time because what is time, and are all connected as one soul at the same time as that. Well, that is just the story book version of what I believe... so much more that you can latch onto if interested... Actually, you should release your soul if you have it caged. A free soul can experience so much more than a human mind could ever imagine.

This is so deep! I feel as though I am not worthy to lay my eyes on this piece of writing. However, I very much enjoyed it. One of my good friends thinks exactly the same as you do.

Oh Melanie how I love your mind lol.
I totally agree with what you have said. I guess when I was writing this I was pointing to the fact that if we live based in our mind and phisical selves, then we would never realise the full potential of our souls.
I'm currently in the middle of a self realisation or apitirual journey of my own, I am challenging alot of beliefs I have held on to for years. It's great to have people such as yourself to help me think of things in a different light
Thank you
Peace And Love
