Mulholland Devils

Mulholland Devils

A Poem by duff

That night the devil wore a t-shirt

Los Angeles was wearing a skirt

Your arm is all we need so hurry

The future burial ground marked

Strutting on their boulevard stars

Go for a little moonlight drive yes

A little nosy snow to get it perfect

Never come back from that kiss

In finality everyone is pure candy

It's so refreshing to read a poem about going out among a devilish crowd, having fun together & not reading ANYTHING at all about social distancing. It's almost as if poetry has been altered as our "normal" seems to have been altered. Let's honor what's been "normal" as long as I've been alive! Love your easygoing love of roam the big city's nightlife (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Arm Candy....pure truffles....
that life is always living on the edge...
danger lurks behind every snowflake that falls upon the boulevard.
Excellent painting in words, here, and not sure why there are no
reviews...puzzling.
