To the Scale of the Universe

To the Scale of the Universe

A Poem by AF
"

My friend and I get into very deep conversations, so here is a poem I created with our words in through text. Credits to VL. Enjoy!

"

We are smaller than quarks on atoms on grains of sand,

Making the tiniest explosions in our own little world.

To make a fraction we are 1/infinity,

Which makes us undefined,

Which makes us almost nonexistent,

Which means we have endless possibilities.

Because no matter how small we are,

Making even the slightest impact on the world for the stupidest reasons

Can leave us smiling at the end of the day.

Yeah,

It’s depressing.

But hey-

That’s the best we can do.

We can make a difference

Even if that difference is undefined.
