What is Wrong With Our World?

I only write when I feel as if something needs to be communicated, when my emotions need to come out, when I have the urge to write it down. This needs to be communicated.

What is wrong with our world?

Evil

Terror

War

Madness

What is wrong with our world?

Rich people

Poor people

Endless hunger

Pointless fighting

What is wrong with our world?

Bullies that kill

Fingers that blame

Leaders that argue

Evil that breaks

What is wrong with our world?

Tears coming from pain

Desire pulling us apart

Criminals set on the loose

Innocent people paying the price

 

What do we do in a world so messed up?

How can we ever survive?

We must come together,

Like sister,

Like brother,

And hold hands as one

To fix the world’s lives.

I haven't posted in a while because I haven't had the urge to write something special. The poem itself is probably a bit rough, but this was an in the moment scribble down trying to emphasize the message. Any constructive feedback would be awesome!
