The Love I Remember...

Thinking of things in my past and my future of love. <3

When I was a young girl

Love showed itself often

Through my families voice.

From throughout the years

Of being close to others

Then slowly growing apart.

After going to school

Meeting many other kids

Learning of fake love.

Guys playing evil games

With my confused heart

Sending me far away.

Then I met him

In the back of class

Showing me true love.

After awhile he left

Shattering my swollen heart

Causing me to hate.

Soon after the years

My emotions grew numb

From all the hate.

But now I smile

From what he said

And caused to feel.

Love is slowly growing

Inside a wounded heart

Wanting his sweet kiss.
