Waiting

When tiredness has long since past

Exhaustion is just another crumbled dream

This is where I stand

 

I have left this place,

Recoiled my feet from the rotting earth

So now I'm floating, free from the gravity of wanting

 

I subject upon my self such harm

For my life recoiled from living to existance

It is the painkiller, to not care and to not dream

 

Follow my downcast eyes to this space I have stolen

Discard your spare words to this puddle at my feet

This puddle of melted self so quick to seep out from this shell

Into this space above, where weak humanity look for answers

I have thrown my rope over the clouds

I hang myself upon denial and swing to a cowards death

You have a deep meaning to your words, not only this stanza but through out your whole verse...

This is a problem I see society face so much, where many de- sensitize themselves because of denials and false realities that they envelope themselves in... we each live in a little bubble world, not caring about anything until our bubble pops...

Thank you so much, this is the most recent I have written, had a five year gap and then this poured out about a month ago. I just grow frustrated at how so many people judge, condemn and solidify their views without knowing or experiencing the subject. Passing their responsibility and blame to a God and then swinging from the rope of faith save in their diminished responsibility. 'God hates me, my life sucks', Nope thats your lack of ability to state at fear and change and walk through it with a gentle shoulder barge. As you say 'that bubble world', makes me very cross to be human sometimes!

Lol sometimes looking at humanity and the broad behavior that has come forth from it does leave a person exasperated and frustrated at the entire existance of mankind at all. Indeed there are so many differences that could be made and there are many differences that are not made, when they should be made. I think people use God as a scapegoat for when times get rough... God is always there. He does not need us. If no one ever mentioned His name, He would not be diminished. If we all praised Him, He does not get bigger... He is constant, and it is us, the people who change. We need Him. But on a scale of people being offended at the name of God at all, I try to keep most of my comments away from religion unless it is brought up...
The one thing that every single human being (no matter age or gender) strives for is happiness and contentment... until the day we die, that is what we strive for.
There are so many negative things in the world, but at the same time there are so many positive things. I easily become depressed thinking of the horrible things people go through, especially through war and poverty. But I can't be like that my wholel life. I need to look toward the positive, and let the negative be my inspiration to try and make a difference.

Faith is highly important so long as it does not become our only method of standing up! My personal faith is made up from many religions. I was blessed to live amongst some amazing cultures. I also believe that God / The higher power grows and evolves through us. We are like the tentacles that feel and experience the joy of living. Negativity is a sign of things that need to be changed, by using positivity and faith everything broken can be fixed x

You share the same belief as some of my most dear friends, and I myself agree with you truly. Take the negative, turn it into positive and watch yourself and the world around you change for the better :)
Sometimes we need the negative to happen to us, to make us better realize how grateful we really are and should be about the positive aspects in our lives :)
