My Granny's House

My Granny's House

A Poem by The Nameless
"

A poem I wrote about my granny and her sentimental connections to her possessions

"

My granny is old
Her house has been sold
She moved to a new
Which only had space for few

Yet she kept all her things
She stuffed them all in

She couldn't let go
Why, I didn't know

The look in her eyes
I couldn't understand
These earthly designs
Can't make happy or sad

But my granny is old
She tends to forget
And the memories she holds
To the objects they connect
