Trapped at work on a windy day...thinking about needing a change.

v1: Outside the wind is blowing

The door is slamming shut.

In shelter I have taken

Sip my sorrow from a cup.

I can hear the gust destroying

All that lay within it's path

From the window I am watching

Author's Note

The video suggests Im left handed. I am not, just an inverted image. Plus its rough cause I just wrote it and the kinks aren't worked out. excuse the bad guitar playing, im not that good. haha

Good stuff, man. I thought I the vid might be inverted. I had not see too many lefty guitars. Mostly lefties will flip string a righthanded guitar. Pick is on top then. :)
Once you get the kinks out and work up the arrangement, this will work the crowd live. I can see it play out.

As a poem, this would work well. But, when I envision this being sung, I see a skinny 16 year old boy dressed in tight black clothing and eye-liner :[ lol

But I love how the chorus shifts to a more positive outlook.

Don't get me wrong, this is a damn good write, I'm just into the kind of music I imagine this song to be.

I really liked this. And to think it was still in the rough stages makes it even more impressive. Because it sound really good. I liked that you did this with the video it is very cool to put a voice to your words. I liked this a lot. The words were very fitting and flowed perfectly. I would love to hear this again after you polish it the way you want to.
