cheers marcus,tom roberts persuaded me to enter the 6 word story competition. not much of a story come to think of it! hopefully with more time at the end of the year i will start with some short stories. this site has so many talented individuals i can learn from. take care

I've also been inspired by a lot that I've read here, and am also starting to have inklings of desire to write short stories! We'll see

i'm thinking of writing something about vampires...i cant tell you how sick i am watching all the different versions from bramstokers to buffy to crespuculo etc etc i want to write a short story about aman who sucks the blood of vampires!!!

The anti-vampire, sounds interesting. I think it's always good to try to find a unique perspective on things. My idea was a short story about a cab driver. But so far its gone nowhere!

i haven't started yet, just have the idea, one thing is knowing what to write about ... something that i personally find interesting or unique, then the second thing is how to write it, for that i will read the best writers in here and frankly copy to some extent their style or whatever i feel works best in their writing. so what happens with the taxi driver ? it gives a lot of scope for introducing new characters and conversation.
