Dearest, sacred rose,

The world envies you;

It wishes only

To be as lovely,

Honest, pure, and true. 

Proud and holy rose,

You flaunt your beauty

In every shade

From the color of 

Love to chastity.

Petals delicate

Gracefully extend,

Reveling in awe

From their admirers 

Who praise or pretend

There is life beyond

Its bright, boasting blooms-

Kind in the morning,

Demure in the night,

And wild during noon. 

May every girl

These aged secrets learn;

May every  woman

Live to simply be

A rose in a field

Of daisies and thorns.

A very beautiful rose and a very good lesson. You went and took the symbolic rote and everything that makes my head hurt when trying to analyze it, so no comments on that front. So I'll just come out and say I loved it just the way it is, before I tried to analyze it... yeah, didn't work out too well. XD
Anyway, never mind that, it was beautiful so just keep at it. :)
