Wandering Ghost

Wandering Ghost

A Poem by Thomas Kainaroi

So much time
In my mind
Behold the mime
Not a whisper you will find

I have been here too long
In a dream, a search
Singing this song
In an old church

Looking for a place
So beautiful and fine
Only to find a faceless face
And for years we dine

Can you see it?  It is there
The fountain, the lake
I can see, from the darkest lair
Please, let it not be fake!

Wandering ghost I am
With a smiling mask
Sham after sham
Seemingly impossible task.
