My cherry whale & the Lighthouse

A weird poem written for a contest

My cherry whale went to the lighthouse

to fix a light bulb that went wrong

My cherry whale went all the way up

and started working on the light bulb

All this while I was fast asleep

snoring and tossing and dreaming

My cherry whale woke me up

pulling me, kicking me off the bed

Groggy eyes and all, I saw 3 cherry whales

shaking my head, I asked him 

Why did you knock me off the bed?

What do you want from me?

My cherry whale dragged me outside

I was stunned, 9 steps I moved forward

Could this be real? can he do this?

My cherry whale fixed the lighthouse! 

I ran back inside and dialed 4 numbers

"Hello Zeus? Make My cherry whale a God when he dies"

I kissed and killed My cherry whale

Now I'll have all my lighthouses fixed
