C**k Soft

C**k Soft

A Poem by Thomas W Case

"
Here comes another
classic case of
writer's block.
C**k soft,
I spew
across the
white pages.
Maybe age is
catching up
with me.
Time has been
a friend,
but I'm only as
good as my last poem.
I long for the days
when songs filled
my heart, where every
part of me smelled
the rain and the
wet dogs, and the
streets of Spain.
The pain was always
fodder, the joy, the sadness
the madness of love and
sex and passion.
The rancid anger and rage
became the words of
a sage when I broke
out the notebook.

Not tonight, though,
I will wait for the
erection and the blood
to simmer in
the red dot on the
white snow.
Patiently waiting for
the hemorrhaging of
the soul.

Most unlike you to be experiencing Writer's Block - but even then you have made something interesting out of it. This is where I find the Japanese Short Forms useful - I can usually manage a Haiku if nothing else. Hopefully yr Muses will return in glory soon ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️

I followed you in the background listening to you read your own poem... youtube, concept, subject. I can say that it is original to me. Isn't it great to be able to write about everything? no more comments from me. authentic

writer's block? i take the time OFF! go ahead put 'everything' on the shelf
when it comes back it will let you know
our brains get tired from thinking all day every day all the time
show it just who-da-fuk-is-boss! who pays the bills
take a nap or two or how ever many come your way

the mind is a terrible thing to waste ... give it a break!
in fact you will be the 1st it tells

Yes. Lol. Thanks for the visit.
C**k Soft - what a title. No laughing matter when your pen gives up on you. Seriously Thomas, it’s a curse all writers dread and it happens to us all and in my case frequently. Great read here though.
