A voice to their own

A voice to their own

A Poem by M.A. Carr

Thunder cries out

with an ominous sound

a voice that needs no repeal

rain paddles down stream

off the roof

birds caress the air with their songs

of wild contentment

airplanes buzz overhead

the sky brushes away with dark
