Overthinking Myself Into A Shell

Overthinking Myself Into A Shell

A Poem by Richard Mueller
"

I just was thinking to be honest

"
Overthinking while my body is in the poetry
Coquetry for the mind through the use of rhymes
Oftentimes I breathe so I can live and I live so I can think
On the brink of insanity, I sink into my mind
So I can sink into myself, so I can sink into oblivion

And I'm sinking lower and lower now until the mud is much too thick.
