Yes, this is so short because it is a Cinquain which is a certain type of poetry consisting of only 5 lines. I was experimenting and trying something new :) Most of my poetry isn't like this though. haha Thanks!

Good poem. Not great but good and relatable. I'll say that loneliness is a familiar face for me, so much so that it no longer makes me sad, I'm content when I'm lonely. Not a bad poem, I pride myself on giving honest reviews, if you review a poem of mine I desire for you to be equally honest. Godspeed.

I can say this isn't one of my favorites. It's a Cinquain poem so it has a specific structure it needs to follow. I like writing longer poetry, you can get more out there. But this was my attempt. Thanks for the review. I got to the point in my life where I almost liked being alone. I made myself numb for so long that I became happy when I was alone or depressed. It's a sick feeling to love.

I know what you mean. One can become sort of addicted to being sad. I was the same way, and maybe partially still am. But my expectations of life have evolved and matured. I don't get as sad about things that used to bring me down. I guess I've developed tougher skin, and learned to be content despite my circumstances not being up to my standards necessarily.

It is definitely hard to get over. There were times where I almost felt lost without my sadness. It became almost a "friend" or a "comfort". It's a sick addiction. I have definitely learned to see the best in life and value all the lovely things in my life. That is good that you have evolved to accept life and the beauty within in. I'm glad!

Though at the same time, I love this feeling. It brings out the creativity in me :)

It has done that with many poets. However, some of the greatest poets have committed suicide over it.

My writing has truly saved me from that. I couldn't be more thankful to myself for finding that escape. To be honest, when i'm feeling my darkest, my writing makes me happy again. No matter how morbid what I write is, I am happy because it is no longer in me.

Yeah, it sounds like a good way to purge the demons inside. I've also heard it said that if you are nervous about something you're about to do you should write for ten minutes beforehand.
